2. ISNA Urges President Obama To Restore Ceasefire in Gaza
(Washington, D.C/November 16, 2012) – The Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) calls on President Obama and his Administration to demand that a cease fire in the Palestinian/Israeli conflict which was broken by a series of aerial bombings in the Gaza strip be immediately restored. This action has since provoked violence on both sides, thus far claiming the lives of 19 Palestinians and 3 Israelis and injuring 188 Palestinians and 51 Israelis. News reports indicate that Israel may be preparing for a large ground incursion into the Gaza strip. Efforts must be made to prevent this escalation at all costs. Although there have been minor violations of the ceasefire throughout the last few months from both sides, the use of airpower and heavy shelling by Israel has introduced a new level of dangerous uncertainty that is in need of much restraint. We believe that the Obama Administration has the ability to stop the violence by acting swiftly and urging Israel to reinstate the ceasefire. “If our nation does not take immediate action,” said ISNA Secretary General Safaa Zazour, “we fear that not only would many more innocent lives be lost, but that the violence could have a lasting negative impact across the entire region.”
3. TV Drama of Khalifah Umar Ibn Al-Khattab (ra)

Known as “Al-Farrouq” (or “The Decider”), Omar was the Second Righteous Caliph of the Four Righteous Caliphs to preside in Islamic history. True to Islamic research, this series underwent a high degree of authentication. 5. Women Runs Down Husband By Car For Not Voting
PHOENIX (Reuters) – An Arizona woman, in despair at the re-election of Democratic President Barack Obama, ran down her husband with the family car in suburban Phoenix on Saturday because he failed to vote in the election, police said on Monday. Holly Solomon, 28, was arrested after running over husband Daniel Solomon following a wild chase that left him pinned underneath the vehicle. Daniel Solomon, 36, was in critical condition at a local hospital, but is expected to survive, Gilbert police spokesman Sergeant Jesse Sanger said. Police said Daniel Solomon told them his wife became angry over his “lack of voter participation” in last Tuesday’s presidential election and believed her family would face hardship as a result of Obama winning another term. Witnesses reported the argument broke out on Saturday morning in a parking lot and escalated. Mrs Solomon then chased her husband around the lot with the car, yelling at him as he tried to hide behind a light pole, police said. He was struck after attempting to flee to a nearby street. Obama won the national election with 332 electoral votes compared with 206 for Republican challenger Mitt Romney. Arizona’s 11 electoral votes were won by Romney.
