1. Boston Police Job Openings
Boston Police is currently has job openings for positions of Police Officer, MBTA Transit Police and State Trooper. It would be good to have Muslims working as police officers, and safeguard our community. Candidates can qualify by passing the required written examination and meeting other criteria. 2. Daylight Savings Time Move Up An House This Sunday, Salat Times Change
This Sunday, March 10 we will move forward one hour due to daylight savings. This would affect salat times by an hour. Instead of Magrib time at 6:00pm, its going to move up to 7:00pm. Make a note of this change so you don’t get confused with the salats timings.

“ICNYU Skiing, Snowboarding, Snowtubing Trip”
Join us for a day of fun in the snow at the Poconos Alpine Mountains. The Islamic Center will provide coach buses for attendees, insha’Allah. Lunch is available for sale at the resort. Feel free to bring money to purchase food or bring along your own lunch. Please note that the menu at the resort is very limited in what it offers. We’ve reserved the basement of the resort all day where salats will be held. Clothing Tips: Layering is very important when participating in winter sports. It helps you adjust to the changing conditions by shedding or adding a layer when needed, and will make your overall experience better. Organized by the Islamic Center at New York University. “IMRC Benefit Dinner for Assam Refugees and Girls Education”
The recent Assam riots have left 500,000 people as refugees in their own homeland. IMRC responded within 24 hours and are now helping the victims with relief assistance and filing FIRs. Guest Speaker for the event is Altaf Husain, Majlis Ashura of ISNA. Entertainment by stand-up comedians Aman Ali and Sameer Naseem. Tickets are $30 Adults, $20 child. Babysitting is provided.

His work bridges classical and contemporary Islamic though, addressing issues of cultural, social and political relevance to Muslims in the West.  Imam Suhaib webb is also the current resident Imam at the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center in Boston, MA. After the presention of Imam Suhaib Webb, there will be a performance by poet Ariz Saleem. Dinner will also be served.
