1. Scholarships of $2,000, $1,000 and $500 Available for Muslim Students
The Islamic Council of New England is granting Merits Scholarship Awards to recognize academically outstanding muslim students. This year three awards will be given in the following order- First Award $2,000, Second Award $1,000, 2 Third Award $ 500. Eligibility: high school graduates of 2014 currently registered as college freshman. To get the full list of qualifying criteria, visit http://www.islamiccouncilne.org. Fire in Chelsea this week burned down 6 houses. One of them was a Muslim family who lost their home, food, clothing and money. Three of their kids have learning disability. We are holding a fundraising to help this family and other families like this. Please join us and contribute to helping Muslim families in difficulty.
