1. Boston Muslim At White House On Climate Change
Earlier this month, Loay Assaf of the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center (ISBCC) was invited to the White House as part of Faith-based and Community Leaders Addressing Environmental Stewardship and Climate Change Conference. He spoke about our responsibility to the environment. Incidentally, ISBCC is the first mosque in the US to receive an Energy Star certification. 2. Islamic Month of Jumada al-Ula Started on Monday, Mar 3

Haji Noor Deen Mi Guang Jiang is a renowned master of Arabic calligraphy from China. He has delivered lectures on calligraphy at the Islamic College in Zhengzhou, China and the Zaytuna Institute in California. Aqiqa dinner of Abdul-Hadi Mir will be served after the talk.
