When one examines why some Muslim youth deviate, a simple but terrifying fact is brought to light, most of the time, the cause is the influence of the friends that surround them. The task of choosing the right friends and companions is essential to preserving our identity. Befriending righteous and virtuous Muslims is one of the prerequisites for staying on the Straight Path and pleasing Allah. “Outdoor Fun with Tubing”
Tubing is a 2 hour session. Ages 3 and up can tube, however they must have the ability to ride alone no tube sharing. Ages 11 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Please dress warm there are most likely going to be lines and some waiting around. Gloves, hats and winter wear are a must. We will meet at the Masjid and the proceed to Butternut Ski Area. Fee is $20 per rider. Organized by the Youth Group Committee.

This talk will examine the brief history of Ottomans, creation of Iraq and its history, current Syrian civil war, rise of Islamic militancy, Al-Qaeda, Al-Nusra, ISIL and Free Syria. Speaker is Zaheer Ali. Mr. Ali is a scientist, an enginner, innovator and businessman. He holds Masters degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering and Business Administration. His interest include the history of Islam in general and its impact on the subcontinent of India in specific. He has spoken widely on the subject and recognized in the media.

“Women’s Self-Defense Class”
Learn the basic skills necessary to protect yourself. This class will show you how to be more aware of your environment. It will teach you mental and physical self-defense in case you are attacked.
